Yes, I do realize that there are legitimate uses for craigslist however even people using it for legitimate purposes have been victimized by craigslist predators. Also I like to believe that I am helping by trying to educate the public about the dangers of craigslist. I'm not saying that craigslist should be shut down but instead they should improve the functionality of their site by monitoring it.

And if you don't think I'm down on Backpage you haven't been reading here long.

Trench,are you aware that there are many legit uses for craigslist?
Some people actually make a living through craigslist.There are good people and there are sickos.My point being,if it is that dangerous why dont you help police its pages.It would seem the cops do.Also,what about all the other media out there.Should we all suffer for the few sick asshats?Maybe just get rid of the internet.
How about we point the blame where it belongs,on the sickos.
Those people hurt everyone who try to eek out a living honestly by using media.I am curious why you are so down on craigslist,why not backpge or some of the others?

What is this obsession with what "supporters" say? They are random people on the internet what a surprise they don't all subscribe to the same theory. The fact that two different idea's exist doesn't automatically invalidate both. Reading up on the WM3 case is like watching Jr. high girls fight, "nons" say this "supporters" say that. How does any of this B.S. have anything to do with the facts of the case?

I'm a skeptic myself but saying an idea is wrong because someone on the same "team" said something else 6 years ago is not a logical counterpoint.

This is my cousins daughter and to set the story straight i was on the phone with Marion police all 3 days she was gone - i begged them to issue an amber alert but they said they didn't feel like she was kidnapped. her mother contacted the police the same day, once she didn't return at night.

They instead wanted to look through her facbook and mocospace account to condemn her for cussing and being a normal 14 year old on there and made it seem like she wanted to be raped. When they brought her back at 3am btw she was so drugged up and out of it her mom had to pick her up and lay her in the backseat of her car...and the police were waiting for them when his uncle dropped her off at Mcdonalds. That is when they found out who the guy was
So to answer your question - her mom and I were fighting with the police to do something - when they wanted to clasify her as a run away.
